Omega 3 TG 90 capsules with enteric coating
This Omega 3 is only made from anchovy caught in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean. Most Omega 3 is made from a blend of mackerel, sardine and anchovy and this can be a problem right from the beginning with purity. not all Omega 3 fish oil is produced in China but the percentage of omega 3 being from China is growing rapidly. Omega 3 Supreme TG with enteric coating is processed in a manufacturing facility in Canada that is also certified as a cGMP for the United States FDA requirements. Canada actually has higher supplement manufacturing standards than the United States.
This Omega 3 is distilled with a Super Critical distillation process and exceed the stringent state of California requirements.
TG Omega 3 - the TG stands for the triglyceride in our Omega 3. More than 99% of Omega 3 fish oil produced is in the EE( ethyl ester) form. If your Omega 3 does not clearly state TG on the label, it will not be and will be in the EE form.
EE form of Omega 3 is really a semi synthetic form of fish oil. EE Omega 3 is not in the natural form of oil from fish. When you distill and purify fish oil ethanol is put into the fish oil as part of the distilling process and this alters the natural structure of the fish oil. At this point in the process the manufacturing company can alter the amount of EPA/DHA and other fatty acids or not. The higher the EPA/DHA thehigher cost to produce the fish oil.
This is the point where the vast majority of fish oil processing ends. The oil is put into a soft gel labelled and bottled and sent to market.
TG fish oil goes to another process. The ethanol is removed from the oil and the fish oil is converted back to the natural triglyceride form.
What does this mean for the consumer?
The fish oil you probably take now is in the EE form.
At least 15% of the oil in a soft gel will be found to be ethanol. For every 1,000mg of fish oil 15 mg will be ethanol. You will not have this in a TG form of fish oil.
Do a little test at home or at work and you will be able to see what the ethanol is doing in your stomach.
Take 3 of your softgels cut them open and pour the fish oil into a styrofoam cup or bowl. Make sure to place several paper towels or a plate under the styrofoam. Let it sit in the styrofoam container for at least 15 minutes and see what happens to the styrofoam. The EE Omega 3 will eat away the styrofoam that fast. Do the same test with our TG Omega 3 and you will not have the same results.
You will not see any deterioration of the styrofoam. Imagine what the EE Omega 3 has been doing in your stomach!
Fish Oil is meant to be digested in the small intestine.Bile salts and activity in the pancreas play a major role in the metabolism of fish oil, when all things are natural. Other substances transport the fish oil into the lymphatic channel and eventually into the blood.
Digestion of EE fish oil is very different, since it is synthetic and has ethanol in the oil. With the ethanol present does not respond as normal. The EE omega 3 is up to 50 times more resistant to the pancreas and this begins to cause problems in the body. Especially if there is anything wrong with the pancreas. Many people are taking Omega 3 to help with inflammation. EE form of Omega 3 will help somewhat with inflammation, but because of the ethanol in the product your inflammation markers will actually go up again.
What is Enteric Coating?
After the TG Omega 3 is put inside the softgel one additional manufacturing process is done with Omega 3 TG with enteric coating. Each softgel is sprayed to coat the softgel to delay the breakdown of the softgel in the stomach.
Our softgels are tested for disintegration. After 60 minutes in simulated gastric fluid, no softgel show a sign of disintegration or rupture. All softgels would show disintegration within 60 minutes in simulated intestinal fluid. With Omega 3 fish oil being best absorbed in the small intestine the enteric was a must if we were to offer the best omega 3 on the market.
